UPDATE: Lee-ann passed away on June 5, at 9:15 pm, according to her mother. She was found unresponsive by her mother and taken to the hospital. She was taken off of life support and lasted several days breathing on her own. She will be missed.

Because of someone who puts themselves "in the know" had posted on her FB page for her blog Warps and Whefts that Lee-Ann Wilber had died last night, I posted the obituary that I had planned when the news was "official". That person has since taken down that post and it now appears that Lee-Ann is still alive, although not expected to last long now that she has been taken off of life support. Horrifically, they did not update their page with a post of apology for claiming the news as fact. They just deleted it. As if it never happened. I am angry and confused and frustrated.

I couldn't call those closest to Lee-Ann because of their grief, but relied on Warps and Whefts for the news, as the owner of this site puts herself out there as a close associate and in the know.

This is bad. I regret my previous post and apologize for sharing it. I will let you know when something is known further.

My jaw dropped when I came upon this. What has happened? I'm so sorry. She always seemed like a real down to earth, genuine woman, but I never knew her in person. I admit, regrettably, that my only knowledge of Ms Wilber comes from the paranormal side of this story.

Deeply sorry to learn of Lee-Ann's passing. She and her partner did wonderful things to restore and maintain that house, not the least of which was demolishing that hideous Leary Press building. My condolences to her family and many friends as she makes her way to a better place.
