Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character by Conan Doyle , I did read about A man called Sherlock Holmes who attended Lizzie Borden‘s trial every day and at the end he formulated a theory on how it was done basically she took two of Abbys oversized dresses a day or two before to use as a cover to commit murders then had Bridget hide the dresses in an abandoned well shared by the Buffington house and the Borden property.
And if I remember correctly this Sherlock Holmes person was hired by Lizzie Borden to find the Real murderer so at the end of the trial she and Mr. Holmes sat down in the house and Mr. Holmes said this is the way it happened and Lizzie he was kind of upset of the fact that he thought it was her that killed the mother and father he did not take the money that she was going to pay him.
I believe that Sherlock Holmes was related in someway to Marianna Holmes.
