I've been looking here lately myself, but the prices are steep. I just bought a whole 19th century outfit--trousers, button on suspenders, vest, coat and derby. the clothes I got from a western outfitter Wild West Mercantile http://www.wwmerc.com and the derby I got from Hats in the Belfry http://www.hatsinthebelfry.com

When my Fairhaven walking tours start in the spring, I'll be stepping out in style.

There's a tour about Henry Huttleston Rogers every Thursday morning, June through September, at 10:00, beginning at the Visitors Center, 43 Center Street. (H.H.R. was the Standard Oil Co. multimillionaire who donated a lot of magnificent public buildings to Fairhaven between 1885 and 1906.)

There's a tour at Fort Phoenix every Friday morning, June through September, at 10:00, beginning at the parking lot at the south end of Fort Street. (Fort Phoenix was active 1775 to 1876 and was attacked by the British in September of 1778. The tour also includes a flintlock musket firing demonstration.)

A tour of River-Side Cemetery is given the Sunday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend at 2:00 p.m. and on a few other Sundays during the summer and fall. (River-Side was created in 1850 by Warren Delano II, the grandfather of President F.D.R. )

Additionally, there are a few tours given on weekends in the spring and in the fall, which I haven't scheduled yet.

I guide all of the tours except the River-Side Cemetery ones.

Wow-- Nice stuff. I wish it had ladies hats.. I LOVE hats-- I have a lot of them! I collect vintage hats and clothing--But nothing too rare to wear!
