Something new is happening, when there is a topic with attachements,
I can't get into it, a page comes on "General Error Message"...can't open
files..and other gibberish. I hate to miss Kat's pictures! Is this happening
to anyone else?

I've been having problems too. I find I can't edit my posts or quote. Anyone else?

It started about 6 p.m., EDST. Harry and I are monitering it.
I was kind of waiting to see if it was happening to anyone else.
That's 4 people now who recently have mentioned it.
Stefani said that it should clear up on its own. If not, Saturday morning she will work on it.

There must be an attachment on that page 2, Second Hand Shop topic.

It's an error on any page with an attachment, and it also is an error notice when one wants to edit.

One can start a new topic or answer on a page with no (picture) attachment.

I have it on a topic I started (Language of the Primary Sources), and there are no attachments on it as yet.

Verrrry interesting, as Arte Johnson used to say. Whatever bug we've got seems also to have the PM system fubar'd (to use an advanced software engineer's term.)

Hooray, all appears to be working well again.

Perhaps the ghost of Lizzie was upset with us. Since there's no evidence against this theory it is definitely possible.

This is a second edit. I just deattached a jpeg that was not mine.

The board seems to be screwed up again.

About 9:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, I couldn't open Kat's "Everyone is Sick." Then I got an Error message for everything. Couldn't even get the Forum Index page.

I exited the site. Tried to come back in and only got Error messages.

Just got in again now.

Who is Susan Lynch and why did her picture appear as if I posted it?

Okay. This is an edit now, too. Up two posts, something appeared as though I had posted it. It said something about Susan Lynch and a photo not attaching. Then there was a jpeg titled "slynch"

I have tried to edit out the whole thing. How did this happen?

I have been having trouble getting to the forum page. Plus, I couldn't see some of the last posts in different threads. Error messages galore.

I posted the Susan Lynch picture...why it posted it as if it came from you FairhavenGuy I don't know. She was my pic to play Emma Borden.

I too was having problems on Friday evening viewing certain posts and would get those weird error messages. By Saturday, it seemed cleared up, very weird, like there was a ghost in the machine.
