Susan sent me this last year, March:

I hope this makes some of you feel a little better about the $$$$ we're
putting into our car's fuel tanks. So you think a gallon of gas is expensive?

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ......... $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ....... $ 9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ............. $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ......... $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ........... $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ......... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .......... $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ............... $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 ................. $84.48 per gallon

and this is the REAL KICKER......

Evian water 9 oz for $1.49 ........ $21.19 per gallon.

$21.19 FOR WATER! ....and the buyers don't even know the source. But
then again EVIAN spelled backwards is na?ve. So, the next time you're
at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout,
or God forbid, PEPTO BISMOL or NYQUIL!!!!

Just a little humor to help
ease the pain of your next trip to the pump...

And you think the price of a gallon of gas is high?

Thanks Kat, I had forgotten about that! Gas in California is just highway robbery, its like $2.39 for regular unleaded! I'm just thankful I don't have to drive long distances!

$1.79 in Iowa.

My husband is one of those who gets satisfaction from buying gas as cheap as he can. He can tell you the price of gas at any station between his office and home and the other places he goes regularly.

Of course you do know that Evian Water comes from Evian-Les- Bains. In the French Alps....

The water is produced from a mountain and it comes out at about 53 degrees. It is fed by melting snow and rain water and it filtered for 15 years through glacial sand surrounded by clay which precents pollution.

MUCh better than Dasani (Coke) which they were taking out of the tap at some factory in England and running it through a reverse osmosis machine (like the one I have at home) !

Drink Evian!
LOL
