Fall River City Directory

For those using the Fall River City Directories for Borden research, you probably are aware of the timing nuances of the information. That said, I found the news snippets below for the 1892 Directory which document when the information was gathered vs. published.

The directories don't tell us where someone lived in 1892, they tell us where they lived Oct/Nov, 1891. A person could relocate January, 1892 and it wouldn't be recognized in a city directory until the subsequent year, 1893's version. I've also pasted below an article from 1897 which tells us the canvassing effort takes around a month.
