Thank you kindly, my dear.
But only the faint-hearted leave the state.
Besides, my cats would never forgive me if I sent them back out into the cruel world from which they came, whilst I galavanted about Iowa.
78 years actually, June 1st 1927. I have wondered if there were any pictures taken of Lizzie in her later years. The only one I know of is that picture of her with the glasses taken in about 1904. Lizzie lived another 23 years after that, you would figure that there would be some pictures somewhere.
What is a Picture, but the capture of a moment in time.
I was once told about a photo seen of Lizzie on a picnic with her servants' and a little daughter of one.
I'm sure there are photos of her if not moving pictures!
I bet she had a Brownie!

That's an interesting thought Kat, did Lizzie have a camera? If she did what happened to the pictures? It would even be interesting to see what Lizzie took pictures of, what kinds of things she found important enough to set down on film. I would love for more pictures of Lizzie to be found. I would love for more pictures of Emma to be found as well.

Lizzie in jail supposedly said she spent a lot of time writing letters. So where are they?
And for a girl who seemed to like her picture taken, even with her spectacles and rounded face- it seems very reasonable to think Fall River natives and descendents of Lizzie's legatees are holding out on us!
Kat in my freshman year we studied the Borden case in History for a project, (I got a 100 A plus of course) My teacher had a few photographs of her and I brought the rest, one of the photos he had was of that which we are speaking.
It may be hard to find my teach was an attorney and he said a friend let him borrow the photos.
