I went to early vote today and arrived 10 minutes before the poll was supposed to open at 1PM. The line was already very long. The polling place opened a half hour late. I voted at 6:45 PM.
6 hours in line! I hope nobody else has to wait this long! The folks around me were great and EVERYONE had a great attitude. That made it all much easier to bear.

I just saw some of the lines on the news.
One place a person said there was only one machine to tally the vote. I don't necessarily believe that- there could be more where the voter didn't see. But I realized partly what is taking so long:
The ballot is 2 pages long!
There are something like 6 non-partisan judges up to be retained (Does anyone know their judges?) - and what, about 6 State Constitutional ammendments? That is a LOT of reading and comprehension.
