The Usual Suspects

Post by jamfaws »

Hi All, I know I said Bye already, but I meant to post this before I left, and now I have a stinking cold, staying indoors until tomorrow, so have a bit of time to kill :!: So here's a poll/post and pic to amuse you all
(Gee I wonder who the winner is gonna be?) cheers Aaron

I can't vote because I change my mind a lot.
Last night I re-read the Pearson-Radin Controversy and that always convinces me for a little while!

I know what you mean, I had doubts myself when voting, but in the end I voted for what I believed today (regardless of what I felt yesterday or will tomorrow :-? ) it's just a poll for now to see who gets the highest vote, I guess I should have worded it "Who Looks most suspicios" then I guess Dr Handy would win

Great pic, Jamfaws! I voted for Lizzie today, though, that may change by tomorrow. But one thing I've always felt sure about, even if Lizzie didn't do it, she sure did know who did!

I was vacillating between other and unknown. I am not yet convinced that Lizzie did the whacking, but I DO agree with others that she probably damn well knew who did.

Kat, it's a great piece, i'll have to read it several times I think before I can comment fully. although one point i'd like to make is, if it was Bridgett and Lizzie, why did Bridget put Lizzie at the top of the stairs laughing, right next to the crime scene? surely if she was that involved and was able to hide blood stained clothes/hatchets etc, would she be that stupid to make such a comment? I always thought Bridget putting Lizzie in that position sort of looked like she was trying to throw suspicion away from herself (if you believe she is the murderer) while Lizzie does everything in her power to retreat her statement of ever being there in the first place, and if she's innocent, she is telling the truth, but then again if she was innocent and knew that Bridget had told a bold face lie, you would think that she would have pointed the finger of suspicion in her direction, so maybe it was just a slip of the tounge from Bridgett, because Lizzie did laugh has she came down the stairs, and Bridgett knew exactly why, ohhh i'm gonna have to think about this one a lot!

This is an important point. If you asked me who I thought did it I'd say Lizzie. If I were on a jury would I vote guilty, probably not. Too many unanswered questions and just enough doubt. I don't know how jurys decide in circumstantial cases.

I agree that on that jury, I'd vote not guilty.

I voted *other* for the same reasons as the others --- I don't think Lizzie swung the axe, but it's hard to imagine she knew nothing of who did it, when they did it, and why they did it.

Of course, I never think anyone is guilty.
