Introduction

Post by MysteryReader »

Seeing as there are at least 32 pages in this thread, I thought I'd introduce myself in a new one!

My name is MysteryReader and while I don't mind sharing my real name, it's already taken on this forum in several combinations

I LOVE to read ( so much that I've always got a book in hand or close by) and I prefer a good mystery. I do read just about anything that catches my attention (I'm ADHD so please forgive me now if it appears I jump around). I got sucked in with Lizzie Borden a couple of days ago while looking for another topic that I wanted to write about. I'm one of those people who want to write a book at some point in their life.

I look forward to digging in and studying what y'all have already talked about and seeing the new information- I do want to write a book about Lizzie, one day.

Some members of the forum have published their books on the case. Many others write articles for the journal "The Hatchet". I would be glad to read your book and those of others.

Welcome, MysteryReader! I am sorry that I haven’t welcomed you before this; it has been a couple of very busy months for me, and I simply forget my manners.

I would also enjoy reading a new book about our Lizzie – you have come to the only forum that I know of for facts about the Borden Murders.

Thanks, Franz! If I write a book, it won't be anytime soon! LOL- I'm trying to sort things out, answer questions, ask questions before I even attempt to write my notes. Hmm, I did see a blurb about writing for The Hatchet. When I get time, I'll have to find out more about that.

I won't be on for about a week- my husband and I are driving across America (we're on the East coast) to spend the summer with his family.

Thanks, Twinsrwe! I am enjoying poking around and I'm finding a lot of knowledgeable people here.
