Re: Maplecroft Sold
OMG, Anthony, that is BIG news!!!
It is so cool that the new owner will be turning it into a B&B. Thank you for posting this.

I hope she strikes up some sort of package deal with LeeAnn to have one night and 2nd street and then on to French Street! It seems to me that would benefit both places and be an all around awesome Lizzie experience.

I saw this! I would have also turned it into a B&B if I could have afforded, it, lol!

I knew $500,000 was his bottom dollar-- but with the work needed to restore it properly, you are looking upwards of a million.

Well, I sincerely hope that the new owners are committed to fully restoring this beautiful home, even if they do it slowly, bit by bit.

I just read that she thinks it'll take her a year to restore it. Business must be good in Texas to be able to afford that.

I am wondering about the things that have been supposedly removed from the house, like Lizzie's bathtub. The stained glass window was taken out. The Fireplace mantel etc.

Doesn't the garage have living quarters? For the chauffeur and his family? Maybe I can rent the garage.
