Can anyone explain why I am not allowed access to the Privy?
I really have to go.

Ha ha! Very funny!
Privy access is earned by posting here. When one's posting number exceeds 25, they are granted access. The reasoning behind this is that I feel it is important that only those who are serious about discussing the case and its particulars, who show they are here for more than just a looksee or a jaunt, be allowed to view private issues that members wish to remain private.
That said, of course a person could join and post crappy "I agree" posts to everything to get their post count up to get into the privy, but the upgrade in group status from Newbie to Sleuth is not made automatically in regards to post count. The access/upgrade is made manually by me, so if a person is using the posting numbers for only this reason, can still be denied or put off from access until they take the policy seriously enough to earn the access.
I hope this answers your question. And I hope you continue to post to also earn this privilege. :-)

And that explains that!! Sounds like a reasonable limit to exclude 'trolls'. Back formation from 'baiting'? Trolling with bait?Adminlizzieborden @ Thu Jan 12, 2006 1:09 pm wrote:Ha ha! Very funny!
