Census form

Post by Harry »

Received my census form in the mail yesterday. It came exactly one week after I received a letter saying they were sending it.

It's only 10 questions but it says to "please complete and mail back the enclosed census form today."

However, the information is supposed to be as of April 1 which is still two weeks away.

Guess they thought it would take that long to get here.

Yeah, Harry. That didn't make sense. Did you count Blackie?

I am very upset with the census this year. As a Genealogist I would like to have seen more questions. I'm sure some people think the census shouldn't be so nosy, but it can be a wonderful tool for those of us who are always looking to expand our family branches and what a thrill to find buried treasure when looking at old census forms.
I filled out the form and I returned it the same day I received it.
