The sister website, "Lizzie Borden Virtual Library" has a ton of information, photos, source documents, etc.
A good start might be to read the opening and closing arguments of the Trial. The trial transcripts are in the section of the Virtual Library called "Primary Sources",
Work thru that info this weekend and then circle back with your approach to the research paper and maybe we can give you some additional ideas.
