Fall River finally waking up?

This is the place to discuss the city and the locality of the murders and the surrounding area --- both present and past.

Fall River finally waking up?

Post by Harry »

Let's hope so. This morning's FR Herald News has an interesting article on possible plans for preserving the historical areas. The B&B gets a mention:

Thanks again, Har, for keeping us up-to-date on Fall River news.
That's Deborah Allard-Bernardi,and she's written probably 8 or 9 pieces on Fall River and Borden properties in the last 2 years.

Thanks, Harry. Lets hope that their idea comes to pass, I've seen the senseless destruction of too many beautiful old homes in San Diego all so they can put up these horrible condos. Its such a waste!

Excellent article. Thanks, Harry. Where is "Corky Row" in Fall River? An Irish area, I'm thinking.

I thought Rock Street was protected. Geez, it's about time then!

Fall River's future probably IS its history. I just love riding around the city and looking at all the houses. Of course, we are usually lost somewhere in the city and you do get to see a lot of it when you're driving aimlessly.
